Sadaka is a passionate and artsy clinician. Her counseling style involves a combination of art making and talk therapy. Art therapy can help one to visualize, reflect and improve self-awareness. No skills are required. If art therapy feels intimidating, she can engage and collaborate in traditional talk as well. Sadaka has a broad background of working with youth, adults, and families from Chicago’s underserved communities. She specializes in helping clients with parenting, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, life adjustments and more. Sadaka utilizes Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Culturally Sensitive therapeutic approaches.

Sadaka is a proud African-American clinician from Chicago. She obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology & Art Therapy from Adler University. Outside of her therapeutic skills, Sadaka has background in studio fine arts, enjoys drawing and kayaking.
