Hilary Fingerman

Hilary Fingerman is an animated, compassionate, and focused practitioner who is excited to build relationships and aid clients on their journey of self-understanding and change. She utilizes CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused therapies including tools like reframing, goal setting, mindfulness, and interpersonal skill-building. You can expect Hilary to hold you accountable while also holding space for the complexities of the human experience.

Hilary works with individuals of all ages, couples, families and groups. She is kind, positive and affirming and has experience working with neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+, relationship and communication concerns, and family conflict. No topic is off-limits, and Hilary is prepared to discuss trauma, anxiety, depression, sex and intimacy, and life’s transitions.

Hilary comes to clinical work from an eclectic background with experience in theatrical performance and choreography, restaurant industry, and dating coaching. The through-line that has led Hilary to counseling is “leadership through connection”. Her upbringing in a Jewish community in Cincinnati, OH taught her the value of culture, camaraderie, and family history. Through these lenses, Hilary approaches each client with a holistic and systemic view, examining all features of a person’s dynamics and beliefs.

Hilary earned her masters degree in clinical social work from the University of Kentucky in 2023. Hilary loves to sing, explore new cities, and take sunset walks along the lakefront!
