Chelsea Cooper


Chelsea Cooper is a compassionate and understanding counselor that focuses on making her clients feel safe and supported by developing a relationship built on trust. Chelsea’s approach to therapy prioritizes validation, collaboration, and exploration as keys to her clients' journeys towards healing. She believes that with the right tools, life’s challenges can be handled and managed in healthy ways.

Chelsea practices trauma informed care with an emphasis on understanding her clients as a whole person. She understands that each person is unique and focuses on using their individual strengths to encourage their growth toward their individual goals. Chelsea has experience working with both teens and adults and can adapt to suit her client’s individual needs.

Chelsea earned her B.A in Sociology in 2019 and is currently working towards earning her Master's Degree in Social Work at DePaul University. Chelsea gained much of her experience working in both mental health and substance abuse treatment settings working with individuals who experienced relationship abuse and trauma.
